Welcome to the video presentation of the Business Case 1 “Benchmarking and energy efficiency tracking in public buildings”. This video focuses on improving the identification of energy efficiency measures and their impacts in most of the public buildings owned by the Catalan Government through consumption monitoring. To achieve the objectives of the BIGG project, the goals of this business case have been divided into two distinct use cases:
– Use Case 1 “Benchmarking and Monitoring of Energy Consumption in public buildings” in which we compare buildings based on their energy consumption. The objective is to establish benchmarking practices to identify areas for improvement.
– Use Case 2 “Energy Efficiency Measures (EEM): Registration & Evaluation”. Here, the focus is on building a repository of energy efficiency measures to evaluate their impacts on achieving energy savings. The aims is to ensure that the implemented measures yield the desired results.
