Next Wednesday 27th October 09:00 – 13:00 CET, BIGG will organize the “Workshop on artificial and human intelligence for community-empowered sustainable energy systems” during the 12th IEEE International Conference on Smart Grids Communications (SmartGridComm 2021), which will take place on 25-28 October 2021 in Aachen, Germany.
The purpose of this workshop is to share and discuss experiences and insights from different H2020 projects on the use of AI based techniques for demand response services in energy communities and buildings and the efficient management of the present systems and assets. Furthermore, insights on drivers and barriers and other social aspects that influence the participation of end users in these communities will be presented, as well as aspects on interoperability, economic viability, legislation and a number of innovative energy community pilots across Europe.
The workshop will include 3 presentations from BIGG:
- The BIGG Project: Development of Semantic Data Model enabling Interoperability and Analytics Services for Buildings’ Data
- Application of AI techniques to building data
- Exploiting the flexibility of residential natural gas boilers
